Matlaung is a beautiful village situated in the northern side of Latehar District in Jharkhand. It lies at the district's border with Palamu District. Some of the nearby places are Herhanj, Bandua, Sinja, Chiru, Balu, Chiru, Nagar, Dihi, Rewad and Mail.
Latehar, this district headquarters town around 17 km south of Rewad, can be accessed from here. The nearby attractions such as Palamu Forts and Palamu Tiger Reserve can be visited.
