Mary Matha Shrine, also known as St Mary’s Church, lies on a hillock in Gunadala, Krishna District. The shrine is distinguished by an iron cross erected atop the hill. A museum, with sacred relics of ancient times and a collection of valuable articles gifted by the devotees, is within the church. The Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes is celebrated here annually with much pomp and splendor. Mary Matha Shrine can be approached from Vijayawada Bus Station.
