Manjuguni

Manjuguni is a pilgrimage center in Uttara Kannada District of Karnataka. It is about 26 km from Sirsi on the way to Kumta. Numerous trees, hillocks and rivers dotting its terrain add to the scenic bliss.

This village is covered by thick fog during the winter and hence the place is called by the name Manjuguni. Widely known as the Tirupati of Karnataka, this place is the abode of Lord Venkataramana (an incarnation of Lord Vishnu) and Goddess Padmavati. There is a big tank at the entrance of Manjuguni.

Kumta Railway Station is the nearest railhead.
