Manjeri Pooram



Manjeri Pooram is an annual festival held in the month of April. Kunnath Ambalam (at Manjeri) and Trikkalangode Temple (at Trikkalangode) are two major venues of this festival. The Pooram is attended by lot of people from nearby areas.

The celebration continues for a week. During these days, colorful processions are held with a display of caparisoned elephants carrying the idol of the main deity. A brilliant display of fireworks marks the conclusion of this festival.
