Mangalore Fried Shrimp is a dish from the southern Indian coastal state of Karnataka, where seafood is an important part of the diet. This dish uses shrimp and unsweetened shredded coconut along with mustard seeds, chopped small fresh green chillies with the scallion. It is usually served with green chutney or lemon wedges, lemon rice and a raita.
