Mallinath Fair

Mallinath Fair, held annually near Tilwara Village, is one of the biggest cattle fairs of Rajasthan. It is organized from Chaitra Budi Ekadashi to Chaitra Sudi Ekadashi (March-April). It lasts for a fortnight wherein the highly popular breeds of cows, camels, sheep, goats and horses are traded.

It is believed that the fair originated from transactions, which took place among admires of Rawal Mallinath who was a local hero. There is a shrine dedicated to Mallinathji and people make offerings of 'batashas' and 'laddoos'. After the fulfillment of their wishes, the people offer miniature horses at the shrine.

The flag of Rawal Mallinathji is hoisted on the opening day of the fair. Various races are conducted including bullock, camel and horse races.

Sale of normal utility items, agricultural implements, and a separate market for fodder are added attractions.
