Malini Thaan is located in Dhemaji District and is around 40 km north-east of Dhemaji. 'Thaan' is a place of worship. In the beginning, it might be just a tree or stone but in course of time it is transformed into a place of institutional worship.
This place is famous for the worship to Goddess Malini from ancient time. Numerous historical monuments have also been excavated from here.
