Malan Wild Life Sanctuary is located at
Pauri Garhwal District in
Uttaranchal. Covered with thick precious herbs, shrubs and trees, the forest is home to tiger, panther, elephant, sloth bear, sambhar, cheetal, kakar, cinkara, reptiles and rare exotic birds. Best time to visit the sanctuary is from February to April. Accommodation is available at Forest Rest Houses at Gularijhala and Haldukhata.
Malan Wild Life Sanctuary is only about 10 km from Kotdwar Railway Station. The nearest airport is Jolly Grant Airport.
