Maheshmunda St Pius X Church

St Pius X Church, which is said to date back to 1943, is situated at Maheshmunda in Giridih District of Jharkhand. In 1946, it was transferred to Chipadhohar in Palamau and then after it was in a neglected state. Later, through the great efforts from Fr E De Meulder, it was reconstituted at its original place. Fr. Jacob Kollamparampil was the first diocesan priest to reside at Maheshmunda.
