Magha Mela, the most famous festival of ‘Mahima Dharma’, is celebrated at Joranda in Dhenkanal District of Orissa. The festival begins on Magha Purnima and continues for four days. Mahima saints and devotees from far and near come to Joronda, the epicenter of ‘Mahima Dharma’, to partake in the festival. It is an occasion of importance for the believers who celebrate it as ‘Guru Purnima or Prabhu Purnima’.
