Lukung is a beautiful hamlet situated in the eastern part of Leh District of Jammu and Kashmir. It is at an altitude of 14,258 ft above mean sea level. Lukung lies on the western shore of Pangong Lake.
Lukung is connected with the neighboring locations such as Muglib in the west, Phobrang in the north and Spangmik in the south. A trek from Leh towards Spangmik passes through Lukung.
