Lower Bazaar, one of the main bazaars in Shimla, lies below the western end of The Mall in Shimla. This is the place where the Tibetans and local people meet for their daily shopping needs. The stalls offer cheaper wares, less fashionable hostelries, manuscripts, books, hand paintings and clocks. There are stalls that sell food and it remains the poor man’s mall.
