Long Island is situated about 82 km from Port Blair. The isle is blessed with evergreen forests, sandy beaches, and coconut plantations. It is connected by boats four times a week from Phoenix Bay Jetty. Long Island is renowned for the beaches at Marg Bay and
Lalaji Bay which are reached by hiring a fisherman's vessel from the jetty. Island camping is also possible here. The sea around this island is visited by dolphin fleets.
