Ladapuram

Ladapuram is located in Perambalur District of Tamil Nadu and is around 16 km west of Perambalur. Thuraiyur is 15 km west. Mathurakaliamman Temple at Siruvachur, a popular shrine of the district, is 16 km from Ladapuram. Nearby places include Uppiliyapuram to the west, Arumbavur to the north, Esanai to the east and Nakkaselam to the south. Ladapuram used to be known for the double lakes Kanavaai lake and the Kurumbalur lake, which have now turned dry. Tiruchirapalli Airport and Tiruchirapalli Junction Railway Station are the major access points. Ladapuram is at a distance of 47 km from Tiruchirapalli.
