Kuzhalmannam



Kuzhalmannam, the land of black palms, cloaked in the greenery of paddy fields, is situated about 12 km from Palakkad in Kerala. It is a rapidly developing place with temples and colorful festivals. Kuzhalmannam, the name is based on the story that Lord Krishna played his flute softly standing at this place once upon a time (In Malayalam 'Kuzhal' means flute and 'Mannam' means slow). The place is famous for an Agraharam, at a distance of 2 kilometers from Kuzhalmannam NH junction.

Maha Ganapathy Temple, Lakshminarayana Swamy Temple, Visweswara Temple and Ganapathy Temple are the main attractions this place. The nearest airport is at Coimbatore (65 km). Palakkad Town Railway Station and Palakkad Junction Railway Station are the nearest railheads.
