Buruqqu, Lalung, Lotsun and Korit are the neighboring places connected with Kuste. Short excursions can be taken to Lalung Glacier and Mulbekh.

Kuste lies on the Polokhar – Shergol route. One can reach Kuste by taking buses or private vehicles from Shergol and Lomba. The nearest railhead is Jammu Tawi Railway Station, which is on the Jammu – Pathankot line.
