Kurebhar is a small town in Sultanpur District near its border with Faizabad District. It lies to the north of Sultanpur. Mayang, Dwarikaganj and Haidarganj are places nearby.
Lohramau, famous for a huge temple dedicated to Goddess Durga, is situated nearby. An important fair called Lohramau Bhavani (held on the 1st Monday and Friday after Shravan Shukla) is the major attraction here.
Kurebhar, halfway between Faizabad and Sultanpur, is well connected by road and rail. Nearest airport is Amausi Airport.
