A series of rock cut steps lead one to this cave. The rocks seen inside the cave are carved in the shape of chairs and couches. The figures of Madurai Meenakshi, Ayyappa, Muruga and Kannaki are also sculpted on them. Hundreds of tourists visit this place every year.

The scenic hill station of Kurathikallu and Thangalppara, a famous pilgrim center for Muslims, are the nearby attractions. Kottayam Railway Station is the closest railhead.
