Khumbeu

A major attraction for every tourist visiting Mizoram is the Khumbeu, a ceremonial hat. It is made of waterproof wild Hnathial leaves. This is a cap woven out of cane. It is then lined with leaves which are dry or smoked dry. The leaves make the cap waterproof. This beautiful and environment-friendly cap gives full protection against wind, sun and rain.
