Situated at an altitude of 3,566 ft above sea level, Khawbung is a small town in the Champhai District of Mizoram. It is 70 km from Champhai and 265 km from Aizawl. Khawhai and Farkawn are situated at distances of 25 km and 13 km respectively.
This town is easily accessible from National Highway 150 which connects Aizawl, Imphal and Kohima.
Bairabi Railway Station is the nearest railhead.
