Khanapur

Khanapur is situated on the banks of Painganga River, on the border of Yavatmal District with Hingoli District, in Maharashtra. It is 12 km south-west of Khandala. Marwadi is 13 km north-west and Malhura lies 16 km west of Khanapur.

Painganga Wildlife Sanctuary, Tipeshwar Wildlife Sanctuary, Chintamani of Kalamb, Mahadeo Temple at Moho village, Sahstrakund Waterfalls, the Jain pilgrim site of Karanja, Narsee Namdeo and Aundha Nagnath Jyotirling are tourist sites around.
