Khalari, on Ranchi-Palamu border, is a small town located in the Ranchi District of Jharkhand. It lies at the north-eastern edge of the district. The town is connected with Ranchi-Palamu state highway by direct road.
St John Paul's Church, a congregation of the Catholic community, is situated here. Forest Research Center at Mandar is nearby.
Khalari Railway Station and Ranchi Airport are the nearest access points.
