Kelamangalam




Spanning over an area of around six square kilometers, Kelamangalam is a small town in Krishnagiri District of Tamil Nadu. Mathagiri (10 km) is in the north-west, Denkanikottai (9 km) in the south-west, Panjapalli in the south-east and Santhanapalli in the south. The town is about 8 km west of Uddanappalle and 14 km south of Hosur. Bangalore, the Silicon Valley of India, is 52 km way. Nearby tourist spots are Chandira Choodeswarar Temple, Thally, Krishnagiri Fort at (155446}Krishnagiri, Kelavarapalli Dam, Tillany Fine Arts Museum and Gallery, Krishnagiri Dam, Government Museum, Rayakottah Fort and Hogenakkal Waterfalls. Victoria Hotel at Hosur provides convenient and affordable accommodation. Bangalore International Airport is the nearest airport. Rayakottai Railway Station serves the town. By road, Kelamangalam can be approached from Krishnagiri, Hosur and Denkanikottai.
