Karangarh is around 56 km to the south-west of Jamui in Jamui District of Bihar. This town is located at an altitude of 984 ft above sea level.
Karangarh is linked by road to the towns of Chakai, Bamdah and
Telwabazar. Jamui and Jhajha are the ideal places for picnickers. For the Jain pilgrims, Jain Mandir Dharmshala, at Sikandra, is of prime importance.
