Karaikovilpattu, referred to as Thiruthelicherry in religious lore, is a village in Karaikal District.
It is one of the four places in Karaikal District, where Thiru Gnanasambandar visited and sung a pathigam (holy hymn) in honor of Sri Parvatheeswaraswamy.
Surasmaharam, Vijaydashami, Kadaimuzhukku and Thiruvathirai are among the festivals celebrated here.
