Kapilarmalai Subramanya Temple

Kapilarmalai Subramanya Temple is situated at Kapilarmalai in Namakkal District. The temple deity is Lord Muruga. This small cave temple is situated on a hill named after saint Kapilar who is believed to have meditated here. The place of meditation is marked and reverred. In many ancient works including those of the Sangam period, Kapilar has mention.
