Kakinada Port Railway Station

Kakinada Port Railway Station is 5 km to the south of Samalkot situated on the Vijayawada-Visakhapatnam rail route. The South Central Railways manages the station. Goutami Express, Circar Express and Kakinada Passenger pass through this station. Going north, Samalkot Junction Railway Station is the major station next to Kakinada. Computerized passenger reservation facility is provided. Near the port railway station is Coringa Wildlife Sanctuary, worth visiting.
