Kailash Fair is an important fair celebrated in
Uttar Pradesh. It takes place at Kailash, 12 km from
Agra.
The fair is held in honour of Lord Shiva who is believed to have appeared here in the form of a stone lingam. Kailash Fair is celebrated during the months of August-September.
