Established by Somaiya Trust, K J Somaiya Centre of Buddhist Studies is located in Mumbai, Maharashtra. It aims to highlight Buddhism's close affinity with other streams of Indian culture.
The center conducts post graduate and diploma courses in Buddhist studies, diploma in Pali, diploma course on Manuscriptology, Japanese language program and French language program. Seminars on Buddhism are arranged. Regular monthly lectures by well known scholars and exponents of oriental philosophy are organized.
