Jew Street



The Jew Street, located about 10 km from Ernakulam, is a paradise for antique lovers. It is an ideal destination for purchasing a wide range of brass sculptures, carved wooden furniture, jewelry and remnants of traditional houses. The antique sellers of these streets are the descendants of the Jews who had settled down here in AD 52. Main attraction is a Jewish Synagogue which is noted for its architectural excellence. Hundreds of tourists arrive here in search of antiques and to visit the synagogue.

Ernakulam Town Railway Station (10 km) is the nearest railway station. Cochin International Airport is about 30 km from here.
