Jagarna is a marriage song cum dance form prevalent to the women-folk of
Jammu and Kashmir. The main theme of the dance is marriage and martial relationships. It is performed after the men-folk leaves for the bridegroom’s house. The dance is performed throughout the night, usually by women only.
Bolian and Dholak are the main accompanying instruments include Jagarna.
