The Institute of Medicinal Plant Science was established in the year 1999-2000, by the Gujarat Ayurved University. Master of Science in Medicinal Plants, Post Graduate Diploma in Medicinal Plants, and certificate course in identification, cultivation, collection, storage and preservation of medicinal plants are some among the courses conducted by the institute. Various laboratories and medicinal plant gardens are also available for practical work.
