Indira Gandhi Institute of Technology



Established in 1998 by Department of Training and Technical Education, Government of Delhi, Indira Gandhi Institute of Technology at New Delhi is the first Women's engineering college in India. It was formerly known as Mahila Institute of Technology.

Affiliated to the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, the institute conducts courses in computer science and engineering, electronics and communication engineering and mechanical and automation engineering. The institute is empowered with experienced and dedicated faculties, laboratory, and library. Placement assistance is also provided by the institute.
