Hyderabad Botanical Garden



Hyderabad Botanical Garden is the first botanical garden in Andhra Pradesh and is located in Kotaguda Reserve Forest near the Hi-tech city at Madhapur. The Botanical Garden encompasses about 3,000 species of flora and covers an area of 125 acres. Bamboo, palm, medicinal plants, timber, desert, flowering and fruit bearing trees, ornamental and sacred plants are found here. Fountains, rock pool, nursery and water bodies enhance the beauty of the garden.

Madhapur is 16 km from Hyderabad Deccan Railway Station on the Hyderabad-Mumbai old Highway.
