Holy Rosario Church is a beautiful 16th century Portuguese built church situated at Hampankatta in Mangalore. The church architecture is attractive, designed in the pattern of St Peters Basilica of Rome and resembling the Roman architectural style. The church dome is the most beautiful part and is a crowning work of the architectural magnificence. It also has a tall bell tower in front of the church building.
The church runs a school, Rosario High School and St Vincent Paul Society working for the upliftment of the poor. The other activities of the church include youth group and various cultural activities. Holy Rosario Church has Holy Mass on Sundays and on weekdays.
