Himachal State Museum and Library

Himachal State Museum and Library located in Shimla displays the cultural, artistic and archeological heritage of Himachal Pradesh. The museum exhibits Pahari and Kangra style paintings, stone sculptures, local handicrafts, textiles and embroidery.

The museum is located 3 km west of Scandal Point. Admission is free. It is open from 1000 hrs to 1700 hrs and Monday is a holiday.
