Hakimgund



Located on the outskirts of Srinagar, Hakimgund is a scenic hamlet in Srinagar District of Jammu and Kashmir. It lies near Bachhpura and is at an altitude of about 5,167 ft above sea level. It is about 160 km away from Jammu.

Hakimgund is encircled by Wawuts in the west, Mazidbagh in the north, Methan in the east and Rawalpur in the south. Other places around this village include Bamlur, Batsapor, Dodarhama, Gadurah, Gandarbal and Gogajhigund.

Hakimgund can be easily approached by bus or private vehicles from Srinagar, which is 14 km away. Udhampur Railway Station serves this place.
