Gurdwara Ramsar Sahib is situated north-east of the
Golden Temple in
Amritsar. It lies on the bank of Ramsar Lake and this place was chosen by Guru
Arjan Dev to compile the
Adi Granth. Sukhmani, the Psalm of Peace, was also composed here by the
Guru.
The present gurdwara is a small marble-lined hall with a lotus dome.
