Set at an elevation of 5,147 ft above sea level, Gulwanpur is a small village in Srinagar District of Jammu and Kashmir. It lies about 11 km to the north-west of Srinagar.
Gulwanpur is flanked by Warbpura in the west and RakhHakarmula in the east. The northern and southern parts are bounded by Hakarmul and Chaudharibagh respectively.
