Gorkha War Memorial, situated at
Darjeeling, is built in memory of all the brave sons of Darjeeling who died in action since 1947. The memorial is 5 km from Darjeeling at the famous railway loop of Batasia, a great engineering achievement. The memorial can also be reached by
toy train. Gorkha War Memorial is open on all days during the daytime. A nominal entrance fee is charged.
