Gobindpur, located in the Nawada District of Bihar, is a taluk headquarters town close to the boundary between the states of Jharkhand and Bihar. It is 17 km north-west of Nawada, the district headquarters. Akbarpur, on National Highway 31, is around 17 km to the east.
Kakolat Waterfalls, Narda Sangrahalaya, Shobh Hermitage and Nawada Museum are the ideal places to stroll around.
Gaya Airport is about 73 km away. Nawada Railway Station is the nearest railhead.
