Located at a height of about 5,167 ft above sea level, Gil Sar is a small settlement in Srinagar District of Jammu and Kashmir. It is about five kilometers from Srinagar – the district headquarters. Lal Bazar and Mundibal are just one kilometer away from Gil Sar towards the west and the east .
