Gharchola Sarees

Gharchola Sarees are woven in Jamnagar, Gujarat. These traditional wedding sarees carry a gold thread for the checks with small golden designs such as a peacock or a lotus in the center. The finishing red color of the Gharchola sarees is traditionally dyed in Jamnagar because of the special quality of the water there. Rajkot is another famous center for these sarees.
