Fagua Dance

Fagua Dance is performed on the full moon day of the Fulguna month of the Bengali calendar year by the Mog and Orang tribes of Tripura. The dance is performed by boys and girls together after playing holi (spraying colors on each other) in the moonlight. They hold sticks in both hands while dancing. Drum and kartal (musical instrument) are used to keep the rhythm.
