Enathur is a rustic village located about 5 km from Kanchipuram. University for Advanced Learning started by Kanchi Sankara Mutt is situated at Enathur. The library of the university is very famous as it has a collection of ancient books and palm leaf manuscripts on various subjects. A 60 foot high Adi Sankara statue is erected in front of the university. Enathur attracts pilgrims and scholars alike.
