Danaha Perunal

Danaha Perunal is the annual feast at St Mary�s Jacobite Syrian Church in Piravom, about 35 km south-east of Kochi. This festival is held in the first week of January and lasts for two days. The spectacular processions carrying gold and silver crosses and colorful parasols, panchavadyam, nadaswaram, musical bands and display of fireworks are the main highlights of this feast.
