Located in the western part of Chennai at Palanchoor, 5 km from Poonamalle on the Chennai-Bangalore national highway, DMI College of Engineering is a Christian minority institution founded by Rev Fr J. E. Arulraj O.M.I. It is run by the sisters of DMI. The institute offers courses in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering and Information Technology. Having a campus of 55 acres, the college is equipped with necessary infrastructural facilities including separate hostel for boys and girls, canteen, telephone, internet, transportation, hospital and bank.
