The College of Marine Technology is an ISO 9001-2000 certified Institution established in 1996 and approved by the Technical Education Society of India (TESI). The College, situated near the Cochin Port, offers the 1.5-2-year Marine Mechanical Fitter Course, which is affiliated to IETS (Government of India). Numerous students who have passed this course are employed in India and abroad.
The college has well-furnished classrooms, workshops, and a library with numeous books on ships, ship constructions, ship repairing, shipping industries and so on. There is much impetus on practical training. Hostel facility is available for outstation students.
