Church of Bom Jesus




Church of Bom Jesus is an early 17th century church, dedicated to Bom Jesus. It is one of the most impressive holy places in Daman District, Daman and Diu. Completed in 1603, the church features beautifully carved doorway and highly decorated interiors together with the lofty ceiling.

There are 6 beautiful statues designed in the style of Roman Church art and architecture. During Portuguese rule, Bom Jesus was a parish church.
