Chitraniketan Residency, an artist retreat, is located in a tranquil environment at the foothills of the Kunnumpara hills in Kovalam. Accommodation features four double bedrooms built in typical Kerala style. It can accommodate 8 to 10 artists. There is also large communal lounge cum workspace.

Trivandrum International Airport is the nearest airport. Thiruvananthapuram central Bus Station and Thiruvananthapuram Central Railway Station are the nearest bus station and railhead respectively.
